    International Introduction to Securities and Investment (lISI) is an international standard qualification from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) UK which aims to provides a comprehensive introduction to the financial services industry with a specific focus on investments from a global perspective.

    IISI is regulated by Ofqual (on its Regulated Qualifications Framework) as the Level 3 Award for Introduction to Investment. On the European Qualifications Framework, this equates to a Level 4 qualification.

    The course covers key financial principles and products including assets and markets, equities, bonds, derivatives, investment funds, retirement planning, loans, mortgages and life assurance.

    Participants for the exam by CISI UK are required to spend extra hours for the qualification.
